They walk beside us everyday,
Unseen, unheard, but always near.'

Happy 61st Birthday Dad!
Oh how I wish I could pick up the phone and hear your voice. I wish I could sing Happy Birthday on your voicemail like I have in the past. I have been wishing for so many things lately, but today my only wish is.....that you are at peace and know my love for you will be forever.

For those who read my blog................
My Dad passed away unexpectedly on April 19th. To tell you the truth, I'm having a hard time finding the words to write anymore. No matter how hard I try, I will never find the right words to express how my heart aches to have him back. I miss him so much and will love him forever.
My heartfelt thanks to everyone who sent thoughts and prayers.

Terry - that was beautiful. I will say an extra prayer for all of you today, and will think of your dad on his birthday.
What a beautiful memorial! I am glad that you "shared" your dad with us on what is his day.
Hugs to you..
Terry, sometimes the lack of the 'right' words allows what your heart is feeling to shine through that much stronger.
I'm so sorry that you had to loose your Dad at such a young age. It is obvious what an amazing bond you two share.
So much love is heading your way.
I am so sorry for your loss. The pictures are beautiful. I will surely keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Happy Birthday Dad....I'm so sorry to hear of your fathers passing. I lost my mother two years ago and it is a pain that softens, but is always there.
I adore the picture of the fireplug, just beautiful and the thought that you will celebrate his birthday every year is such wonderful tradition.
Much love to you as you celebrate the birth of a very special man.

What a beautiful post/tribute to your dad! I'm sorry to hear the first major holiday - his birthday - is so soon after his passing. I send my deepest sympathies for the loss of your father too soon. May you find some peace in the days, weeks, and months ahead and may the best memories of him carry you through the difficult times.
